TIFFANY RECYCLED - Design Marcello Ziliani
The Tiffany collection, the best-seller of Casprini has become by this time a long-seller, confirms its vitality and innovation energy since its presentation in 2004 as the first transparent monobloc chair moulded with gas technology, solution adopted by many and still uninterrupted ranks of competitors. This year, besides the linking stackable version for halls and meeting rooms, Tiffany is being presented in a version showing how environmental compatibility can be something concrete and not only a label sticked astutely just to satisfy fashion trends. The ‘recycled version’ actually has been realised using polyamide produced from a a‘closed’ recycle of selected, rejected and regrinded material. This process obtains two results at the same time: “first it avoids that the rejected material finishes in a discharge circuit difficult to keep under control thus decreasing irreversible the quality of the rycycled material so that it cannot guarantee its use again” – “secondly, due to a perfect control of the starting material it allows to obtain a product with the same mechanical and aesthetical qualities as those of the first choice with exception of the colour that obviously cannot be the same as the original.
In order to indentify clearly this version the choice of a captivating deep dark grey colour, shining and bright as if it was made of vergin granules.
Another important detail of this version, besides the perceptible containment of waste and pollution, is obviously its considerable lower price offer.
